Alberta Pond Hockey

The Alberta Pond Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 2006 under the Societies Act in the Province of Alberta.

This is what we have achieved in 4 years! We are Alberta’s largest pond hockey tournament!!! In 2010, teams from Sask and the NWT participated! Quick 2006 to 2010 Comparisons.

• Hall of Fame Guests: Gerry Cheevers, Bostons Bruins (2008), Bryan Trottier, New York Islanders (2009), Clark Gillies, New York Islanders (2010).
• The championships have been featured on CTV Newsnet, Hockey Night In Canada, CBC TV & Radio, Global TV, and at Edmonton Oiler Home Games.

• Raises monies in support of local youth programs and Special Olympics Alberta.
• Showcases the spirit of the Peace Region.
