The Alberta Pond Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 2006 under the Societies Act in the Province of Alberta.

This is what we have achieved in 4 years! We are Alberta’s largest pond hockey tournament!!! In 2010, teams from Sask and the NWT participated! Quick 2006 to 2010 Comparisons.

  • The championships have been featured on CTV Newsnet, Hockey Night In Canada, CBC TV & Radio, Global TV, and at Edmonton Oiler Home Games.

  • Raises monies in support of local youth programs and Special Olympics Alberta.

  • The World’s Largest Pond Hockey Game will featue 440 players participating in one game of pond hockey!
  • Our champions receive an entry into the World Pond Hockey Championships and $2000 towards travel costs!
