About

The Alberta Pond Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 2007 under the Societies Act found in the Province of Alberta.

The mandate of the Alberta Pond Hockey Association is to:

Raise awareness and monies in support of local youth programs and Special Olympics Alberta.
Showcase and celebrate the spirit of the Peace Region.
Provide a family oriented recreational activity for all Albertans.
Serve as a feeder tournament to the World Pond Hockey Championships which originate out of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick.

In order to ensure the success of this initiative, we have drawn upon the support of governing bodies, corporate sponsors and community minded citizens who share a passion for recreational pond hockey.

In doing so, we hope to provide a healthy recreational opportunity that will attract a legion of followers for years to come.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation are extended to those who have assisted in re-affirming a fine winter tradition in the Peace Region.
