Tourny Details

Pond Hockey is comprised of a team of four players competing against another team of four players with no goaltenders. The game is played on an natural outdoor ice surface that is approximately 150ft by 75ft or 75% of a regulation ice surface. A game is 30 minutes in length with two 15 minute halves.

NEW! Substitutions ALLOWED for 2010 – Five players/ side.
78 Teams (Men/Women/Mixed) – No Divisions.
Random draw to determine schedule / opponents.
All games are 30 minutes (two 15 minute halves).
Each Team is guaranteed 8 games between Thursday and Saturday.
Top 32 teams will advance to the play-off rounds (Sunday). Teams will be seeded.
All teams should be prepared to play on the evening of Thursday, February 11, 2010.
Scheduling requests may be considered.

NEW! Substitutions will be allowed in 2010! Five players per side. Teams will only be allowed to substitute a player after a goal is scored upon them. The player entering the game must enter the ice from behind their own net.

NOTE: Tournament organizers reserve the right to limit the number of team entries based on scheduling dynamics.
