LumpSumm To Perform At The 2020 Gala!
The Alberta Pond Hockey Association is excited to announce that Terry Hoknes will be opening up for LumpSumm at the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex during the Pond Hockey Gala Event on Saturday, March 7th, 2020.
Terry Hoknes the Piano Man can play over 2000 songs. He will be warming up the crowd and taking requests.
LumpSumm is Johnny Quickstad, Dano Laflamme, Tyson Goodvin & Amber Haydey are a high energy ensemble with years of experience entertaining audiences from all over North America. They bring you the ultimate evening with a playlist from their early influences to current, ranging from Classic Country to Heavy Rock. Not shy to explore all genres, they welcome the challenge of attempting any requests thrown at them as well.
Johhny Quickstad’s wizardry and virtuosity on the guitar will be on full display along with his soulful vocals. Funny as hell too ! You may have witnessed his craft playing along such greats like Gord Bamford, Dan Davidson, Aaron Pritchett, Small Town Pistols & Bo Diddley to name a few.
Peace Country born and raised Tyson Goodvin on Bass and vocals. Tyson : The guy who played bass in Aaron Goodvin’s “Lonely Drum” video. Along with his many other appearances with acclaimed artists on the country’s biggest stages, you quickly gravitate to his infectious charisma on stage, striking good looks along with his world class bass stylings, .
Dano Laflamme on drums reinforces the driving sound of LumpSumm. His passion for solid dynamic rhythms and a wide vocal range is prevalent. Dano’s well rounded styles can be attributed to his journeys of playing with former local classic rockers ‘C.Alice’ and his current acclaimed Indie Roots Country Group “The Brad Lynch Band” His desire to capture and entertain the crowd is witnessed on every stage he performs on.
Featuring : Amber Haydey released her sophomore album ‘Holding On To a Memory’ in July 2015. Her first radio single ‘You’, was one of the most added singles by a female independent artist. Amber is an experienced performer with regional and national performances ranging from small intimate clubs to large performance stages. A small town girl at heart, Amber draws inspiration from the prairies she was born and raised on, and the memories that have truly defined the woman she has become. Amber says so eloquently “I want to connect to my audience through my own personal experiences, and the experiences of those around me. I always go on stage with the intent of giving my audience something to remember me by. Substance and authenticity are the two most important things when it comes to writing and playing a live show. That’s what my fans have come to expect, and I intend to give it to them”. With powerhouse vocals, perseverance, and a whole lot of heart, Amber is well on her way to achieving the dreams she works so hard for.
