Download a Northern Lights app, but if you don’t know how to read the data it may seem like gibberish. Better yet, ask the locals they are always eager to help.
3. Escape The Light Pollution
Consider your location and try to escape any light pollution.
4. Watch The Forecast
Clear, dark skies are a must. Watch the forecast for your aurora hunt to increase your chances of witnessing the light show.
5. Talk To The Locals
Talk to the locals and get tips for the best places to view the Northern Lights.
